I've been self-employed for over ten years. I'm an owner and the Chief of Technology at Blue Ray Media. We work with non-profits, law firms, retail, wholesale, and service businesses. We specialize in dynamic database driven Web sites. With clients ranging from local mom-and-pop shops to national and international businesses, Blue Ray Media has gained a reputation for creating exciting and effective work in all aspects of interactive media.
I'm also an owner of Sunflower Holdings, Inc., which specializes in Web-based software solutions. We currently offer two services for vacation rental property managers and owners, My Vacation Rental Site and Global Vacation Rental Listings. MyVRSite.com allows vacation rental property managers and owners to easily create a Web site that includes a reservation system and the ability to manage reservations and guest communications. GVRL.com is a listing service for Vacation Rental properties, which is currently free. As of April 2008, we list over 1,400 properties around the world. We are developing two new services geared toward mortgage brokers and organizations that hold street fairs.
My responsibilities for both companies include programming, database design, server administration, customer support, sales and marketing. I enjoy programming and creating new custom solutions. I also enjoy working with customers both in support and sales.
My hobbies are running, biking (road and mountain), swimming, weight lifting, and reading. I'm currently training for a ½ marathon and a triathlon.
I'm also a member of Toastmasters International and enjoy improving my public speaking abilities.
